Blogger offers Template Designer tool that is a new and easy way to customize the look of your blog. You can choose a variety of templates, layouts, images and color combinations to make your blog look attractive.
To customize your default template with Blogger’s Template Designer, do follow these steps:
1. Go to Blogger Dashboard and click design link to launch ‘Template Designer’. Then click the Template Designer tab, here you will see five sections and choose the first one that is your Templates section.
2. Select a template for your blog. Each template appears as a large thumbnail that will show you different deviations on the bottom of template after clicking. Each template layout provides alternative colour palettes and here you can select your template to use, and move to the next step.
3. After this step, click the ‘Background’ tab, and then click on the arrow next to the thumbnail of an existing template image that will redirect you to Select ‘Background Image’ window.
4. Click the left side tab of the ‘Select Background Image’ window in order to choose a different image theme, and select the image which you want then click done.
5. Now click the ‘Adjust Widths tab’ and here you can use the sliders to adjust the entire blog and right sidebar widths.
6. Click ‘Layout tab’ and select your blog layout.
7. Click ‘Apply Blog’ button at the top right.
